Also thanks to AKU-BAT’s many years of hard work, the first reading of the Energy Act novelization in the Chamber of Deputies finally took place on Tuesday, January 26. The Economic Committee was appointed a guarantee committee of the novelization and, in addition, the time limit for discussion was reduced to 30 days. The Committee meeting should take place in the second half of February, in which amendments to the novelization, including the one on energy storage initiated by AKU-BAT, will be discussed. Then, the second and third readings will take place in the Chamber of Deputies, approved by the Senate and signed by the President. If all goes well, the Energy Act novelization could enter into force in April / May. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
