The discussion will focus on the growing importance of co-located energy storage, which is rapidly becoming a key component of financially attractive solar projects in the CEE region. This approach enables efficient use of shared infrastructure, better grid integration, and revenue optimisation. While standalone battery systems remain competitive in auctions, hybrid PV + BESS projects are increasingly attracting investor interest. The panel will offer data and practical insights into why this model is becoming the preferred option and how to structure it effectively for long-term success.
