On the 17^th of February, a reportage on the current situation around the novelization of the Energy Act was broadcast on the TV News. The meeting of the Economic Committee of the Chamber of Deputies took place on the same day, but the amendment to energy storage initiated by the Association for Energy Storage AKU-BAT was not accepted and the amendment proposal was withdrawn. Its new version will be discussed on the 25^th of February at an online meeting attended by all key players (MIT, Energy Regulatory Office, Czech TSO, DSOs, AKU-BAT and others). The meeting was initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which wants to prepare its own amendment for energy storage and submit it to the Chamber of Deputies for the second reading.
