AKU-BAT CZ Members Meeting

The opening part of the program will focus on the association’s activities, current challenges in the sector, and opportunities for member involvement, including topics related to the commercial operation of BESS and regulatory requirements. This will be followed by an expert discussion on the new tariff structure, featuring representatives from the Energy Regulatory Office (ERÚ), distribution system operators (DSOs), and association members.

The second panel discussion will address the issue of (non-)connection of battery storage systems and broader challenges for the development of flexibility in the Czech energy sector, with participation from distribution companies (DSOs), public administration, and industry experts.

Speakers will include distinguished guests such as René Neděla (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Alex Černý (ERÚ), a representative of ČEZ Distribuce, Libor Kolář (EG.D), Martin Kašák (ČEPS), as well as representatives of the AKU-BAT Association – Jan Fousek (Executive Director), Martin Panáč (Chairman of the Board and Head of SAF), Tomáš Kubina (Chief Technical Advisor), and Jan Krčmář (Director of the Solar Association). Vojtěch Krajíček from the law firm Doucha Šikola Attorneys and other notable guests will also speak at the meeting.
