TECHSYS: Sources, Batteries, EMS and Their Role in the Energy Market

The third edition of this successful seminar is designed for companies involved in dispatch control of energy sources, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or local distribution systems (LDS), as well as those considering participation in Ancillary Services (AS). The seminar also focuses on the role of Energy Management Systems (EMS) in managing imbalances and optimizing operations within the energy market.

Programme

Amendment to the Energy Act – Lex OZE III and its implications for electricity supply security in the Czech power system
Provision of Ancillary Services from the perspective of ČEPS, upcoming changes and practical experience
Expert insights into non-frequency ancillary services
Battery storage systems in the context of the Lex OZE III amendment
Initial experience with community energy and EDC, and further development
Dispatch control focused on specific sources and loads from the perspective of a system provider
Management of generation and consumption based on negative spot prices, including provision of Ancillary Services from the perspective of an aggregation system provider
